Besides holding numerous concerts and producing outstanding works, he has always tried to deal with profound humanistic concepts in his works, and to critique challenging conditions of the world in the beginning, and then to produce distinguished works with social themes. As an artist and composer, he has always understood the importance of training art students and has employed them in his large choir, Naamira, to produce archaic and epic works with an artistic attitude. He established Naamira Choir as the first independent and non-governmental choir after Iran's revolution in the first half of 1990s. Producing choral and archaic music is among his fields of activity, and he himself sings in his music pieces. Best Features

COMPOSER

Early on during his learning music, he showed an avid interest in composing melodies. His first experiences of composing melodies were in the field of chilren music. His interest in human voice and choral singing brought him considerable experience in producing choral works. In most of his works, he chooses piano as the main character, and after composing the melody and arranging the necessary harmonies, he embarks on orchestrasion of the pieces. Due to his interest in instrumental music, most of his published albums are in this genre of music.

CONDUCTOR

In all of his stage works, he was the conductor of the choir himself. He believes that one of his most important responsibilities is to try to create solidarity among the group members and to reach shared beliefs to achieve a perfect performance. He has been active in the field of pop music, whether in writing notes for the choral sections of the pieces or in conducting the choir in joint performances. Being invited as a guest conductor, including conducting Naser Cheshmazar's orchestra, is another achievement in his artistic resume.

ACADEMY

Naamira Music Academy was founded by him in 2002. He spent more than three decades of his professional life instructing students and people interested in music, and during these years, he has trained a lot of trainees. Instructing trainees starts with courses on basics of music and then ends with choosing one's favorite instrument. In the singing section, both in the children group and in the adults group, trainees pass courses on basics of music and then attend courses of voice making and singing to gain the necessary skills. Then they participate in certain courses, and if they gain the necessary knowledge and technical abilities, they will be accepted as a member in Naamira Choir. Teaching music to children through the best instructional methods are among the other important aims of this academy.

CONCERT

His stage performances started after establishing Namira Choir in summer 1996. His emphasis on avoiding re-performing of previously performed works and his interest in producing choral music with various social themes led to a situation in which the audience participated in his numerous concerts in the best concert halls of the country and listened to his best works. Considering the fact that most of his works has a stroyline, he could use the impressiveness of other media, such as designing motion and dance and showing pictures and animations on the stage while performing. Cooperating with Farid Hamedi, the manager of Picado Art Institute, brought about a change in the performance style of this composer. As a result, after producing the "Silent Season" album, this work was performed as a "concert theater" on the stage with Farid Hamedi as its writer and director. Farhad Harati has the perfirmance of more than 30 concerts in his artistic resume.

Cooperation

Due to his acquaintance with music in the college years and prior to his academic studies in Graphic Designing, as well as a long-standing cooperation with the most credible music center in Iran, the Beethoven, he has designed more than 200 music albums in Polish School. A number of these works have been selected for the Golden Bee Biennale in Moscow, and the Celebration of the Music House in Iran.

NAAMIRA

The great interest of this composer in human voice and choral singing led him to establishing the first independent and non-governmental Iranian choir after the Islamic Revolution in 1996. Considering the pre-identified goals in Namira Music Academy with regard to training choral singers, this group formed the children and young adolescents choir and kept on its path with a modern structure and in a more coordinated manner. He used all different vocal characters of singers in various emotional atmospheres, presented modern works in the field of choral music and symphonic poem, and performed numerous concerts with different themes. By doing so, he evidently tried to express his musical thoughts. Among the published works of this composer in this musical genre, we can refer to "The Pacific Sun" and "The Sacred Earth" albums.

All STANDPOINT

CHORAL

Farhad Harati considers human voice as the most divine sound. Therefore, many of his written works were dedicated to choir. He believes that adding choir sections to every genre of music, whether in emotional music or in epical music and even in fantasy music, makes a great contribution to the impressiveness of music on the listener.

EPIC MUSIC

Farhad Harati's acquaintance with epic music and the method of combining instruments, especially percussion instruments, to produce legendary works led him to produce most of his works under the influence of this genre of music. In his opinion, in this genre of music, the composer can create romantic themes and melodies, even in the most epical section of the work, to maintain the emotional essence of the music and increase its impressiveness on the listener.

WORLD MUSIC

Due to his interest in different types of ethnic music, especially East Asian music, Celtic music, and Arabic music in Africa and its combination with Western music, and in order to get more acquainted with world music, Farhad Harati is gaining auditory experience in world music and is investigating and analyzing it.

MY FAVORITE

Farhad
Listening to the works of Vangelis, the great Greek composer, in early adolescence had a great effect in forming ideas in my mind to produce music. One of the main characteristics of this composer, which has been very instructive to me, is the repetition of themes and motifs. He introduces them first, and then in every repetition of them, he makes them culminate through the use of the orchestration he chooses. In this regard, we can refer to the "Oceanic" album. Additionally, in another album called "Mythoda", he narrates a kind of descriptive music. What made every time of listening to this album like attending instructional course to me was that while listening to this work, I couldn't predict the flow of melody or rhythm, but in a magical manner, I came across and went along with the course of constant changes in rhythms and harmonies and his unique use of the collaboration of choir and soloist singers.

Hans Zimmer is one of the other composers who had a considerable effect on the formation of my thoughts and the musical structure of my mind. His substantial activity in the field of movie music genre and my great interest in this music genre have made me gain valuable experiences through investigating the works of this composer. Writing nice themes in the epic music genre and magnificent expansion of these themes, even in the most epical section of the work, have always been like an instructional course to me. An example is the music of "The Last Samurai" movie. What has always been instructive and inspiring to me while listening to the works of this composer is his unmatched use of human voice, whether in solo sections or in choir sections. Examples include the music produced for "King Arthur" and "Angels and Demons" movies.

Considering the exceptional attitude of the composer in choosing themes for each of these three albums and at the suggestion of Farid Hamedi, the manager of Picado Art Institute, it was decided that no end point be considered for composing music for these albums. In addition, "The Sacred Earth" album, which has gone through the process of production and recording music, was considered as the fourth album in this collection after a revision in its mixing.
